Pay-per-hour lecture capture has been a key service at Portland State for nearly two decades. Over the last 5 years, departments have reduced their use of this service in line with shrinking budgets. Come and learn how OIT is adapting and innovating to increase the use of classroom-based lecture capture and streaming, by reimagining what lecture capture is, how it works, and who is driving. We’ve built advanced network-connected rooms that allow faculty to either do it themselves, have the room scheduled and remotely monitored, or have the full production experience for sessions that really matter.
